- 200g of boerewors sausages
- 2 big green cabbage leaves cut in half
- 2 big sized potatoes(cut in cubes)
- 1 medium grated carrot
- 1 tablespoonfull of mayonaise
- 2 tablespoonsfulls of diced
- mixed bell peppers
- 1 diced boiled egg
- Salt and pepper for seasoning
Simply grill till tender and done..
CABBAGE LEAVES:-Boil in salted water till tender but still
Al dente(firm to the bite)drain any excess water from the cabbage leaves by patting them dry using a paper towel,then heat up a bit of oil on a saucepan and fry some freshly crushed garlic and saùte the cabbage leaves in the oil and garlic,season the canbage leaves well with some salt and set them aside..
Simply grate and add pinch of vinegar to taste
Cut them into cubes,boil them in salted water till done,set them aside to cool,thereafter add mayonaise,season them well with salt and pepper,add diced peppers and diced boiled eggs and mix well,place in fridge to chill for at least 20 min..
SERVING:Serve the sausages by wrapping the saùted cabbage leaves around them,alongside the grated carrots,some shredded letuce,potatoe salad and a barbeque sauce to be used as a dip for the sausages…
