  •  Whole Chicken Pieces
  •  Tomato Puree

  •  Curry Powder
  •  Plain Yoghurt
  •  Sunflower Oil
  •  Onions
  •  Garlic
  •  Water
  •  Ground Coriander
  •  Ground Cumin
  •  Red Chilli Powder
  •  Ground Turmeric
  •  Garam Masala
  •  Tomatoes
  •  Green Chillies
  •  Fresh Coriander
  •  Paprika Powder


1. First, marinade the chicken. Place the chicken, tomato puree, salt, lemon juice, curry powder and yoghurt, and mix well. Leave to marinade for a few hours or overnight. 2. For the curry, heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the onions and garlic and fry until golden brown. Add ¼ cup water and cook for 1 minute. 3. Add the marinated chicken to the pan, and fry for 7 minutes. 4. Add the ground coriander, ground cumin, salt, red chilli powder, ground turmeric and garam masala. 5. Cook for 5 minutes and then add ¼ cup water. Bring to the boil, and cook covered for 40 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. 6. Finally, add the tomatoes, pepper, coriander and paprika. Stir well and serve!
